The Embroiderers' Guild's International Open Biennial Exhibition
Open to all
artists (including students), a major exhibition from the Embroiderers'
Guild, which aims to represent the diversity of contemporary embroidery.
Works may be in any medium, stitched or derived from stitch. Entry
forms.

art of the STITCH
2003 will be shown alongside SAMPLE, an Embroiderers' Guild exhibition
of new work by 10 artists, challenge to develop their practice through
the theme of stitch. All artists are invited to submit a proposal,
with preference given to the following groups: Established textile
artists who wish to experiment with new mediums or formats to extend
the theme of stitch from their existing work; Artists not currently
working with stitch who wish to explore it's possibilities for their
practice; Collaborations between stitched textile artists and others.
