'Summertime' by Gershwin was the inspiration for this piece of work, which opens like a fold-out book, but looks like a little stack of records when closed. The sun was originally a clip-on earring and other embellishments include beads, hand-dyed organza, gold fabric and felt. The background is painted calico; gel pens were used for the writing.
