Margaret regards becoming a Member of the Executive Committee and a Trustee as a great honour. Margaret writes:

During the past 11 years of working for the Guild many changes have taken place with even more challenges ahead.

I take particular pleasure in the changes within the Membership of the Guild - not only 'one Member one vote' but the diversity of the Membership where anyone with an interest in embroidery is welcome to join us and share in our enjoyment.

I am also looking forward to being more involved in the 'great challenge' of the future, our new home. Sometimes it seems to be taking forever. However, when such important decisions are being taken, on behalf of our Members, it is wise to be prudent and take time to make the right decision for us all.
