Edna is a member of Connection Group and a patron of contemporary embroidery which attracts her with its innovative and creative ideas. Edna writes:

I feel it is a great honour to be elected as a trustee at this very exciting stage, and try to give back to the Guild something in return for the years of pleasure I have received. To be part of the enthusiasm being generated by everyone from Members, staff and the various council bodies, is inspiring.

Having visited the proposed Manchester site I am confident within a few years we as Members will be justly proud of our new home, and the efforts that are now being made will be appreciated not only by us but by the next generation on whom we all depend.
