ICE PACKS

The North West Regional Committee

As part of their fundraising for the Guild's centre for embroidery, twelve current members of the North West Regional Committee made up ICE PACKS as mystery parcels for sale to individuals and Branches.

The ICE PACKS were all different and included some of the following items - embroidery fabrics and threads, fabric and thread for dyeing, metallics - threads/goldwork perle, etc., foils, leather, needles, beads, silk fibre, paper, silk pieces, embroidery books and magazines.

The ICE PACKS went on sale at the North West Regional Day which was held in Preston on 26th April 2003, raising an incredible £855.00 towards the appeal for funds. There are just a few packs remaining which will be sold at Branch meetings and events.

Well done! and many congratulations to the members of the North West Regional Committee.The exciting ICE PACKS project raised a total of £1,324.50. Very many thanks are extended to all the Members and their friends who supported this project by purchasing the ICE PACKS, which ensured its success..
