Hart Branch Fundraising
Campaign
A large amount of fabrics,
threads and trimmings accumulated over the years were put to use by the Members
of the Hart Branch to make a selection of articles for sale.
The items included rag dolls and lavender bags, silk covered notebooks and ribbon
embroidered flannels and towels, silk cushions and bead necklaces, bags of all
sizes, novelty "face" brooches and Christmas decorations.
Overall £508 were raised from the sale of these items. The money will go
towards fundraising appeal for the new centre for embroidery.
