TOUCH!
Please Touch! is an exhibition of entries to the Tactile Book
Project run by the Embroiderers Guild & ClearVision. Showing
off the creative ways entrants have developed to communicate
a story by touch, the books will be displayed at each of the
Knitting & Stitching Shows this Autumn.
SHIBORI
SYMPOSIUM
Creative Exhibitions are delighted to announce that the first
International Shibori Symposium to be held in Europe will
take place alongside The Knitting and Stitching Show in Harrogate.
The programme of international speakers and workshops is being
put together by Yoshiko Iwamoto Wada and an exhibition of
the participating artists work entitled "Memory on Cloth:
Exhibition of Shibori Art" will take place within The
Knitting and Stitching Show. Through her Guild Scholarship
activities Michelle Griffiths has been involved in making

EMBROIDERERS' GUILD GRADUATE SHOWCASE
The Embroiderers Guild Graduate Showcase continues to support
new artists at the start of their careers, and this year we
follow up the progress of those who exhibited as graduates
in 2001 with Return a small exhibition showing how these artists
