ART OF THE STITCH and GENERATION events

Unless stated, all events cost: £1.50 per participant. Each workshop lasts between 1 & 2 hours. Families are welcome to join in with their children, and children 8 years and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times during the workshops.

Clare Proctor's Workshops
Young people aged 7 - 11 years

Discover how Clare's work is put together and produce a piece of your own, working in 3D with fabric and using multiples to create organic shapes.

Work with a professional performer towards a short performance in The Mall Galleries and the neighbouring ICA, on Friday 24 August.

ICA Talk: Blurring the Boundaries: Embroidery into Fine Art

Hosted by the Institute of Contemporary Art in the Mall, this panel-led discussion will look at the instances of embroidery's inclusion in fine art exhibitions.
